Mayan Monkey is a unique hospitality brand that offers travelers a chance to experience the dual essence of Tulum — its vibrant party scene and serene wellness retreats. With properties that seamlessly integrate adventure and relaxation, Mayan Monkey captures the spirit of Tulum by providing a space for social gatherings, high-energy events, and peaceful moments of reflection. Catering to both thrill-seekers and wellness enthusiasts, Mayan Monkey stands out as a destination where guests can immerse themselves in both sides of Tulum.
THE BRIEF
Showcasing Tulum’s Dual Appeal
Mayan Monkey wanted to highlight the two contrasting sides of Tulum: the electric party scene and the tranquil wellness experiences. The goal was to create cinematic content that portrays this balance — showcasing the lively social gatherings and exhilarating beach parties alongside the peaceful yoga retreats, healing ceremonies, and mindful escapes.
We had 10 days to capture Tulum’s essence, focusing on the energy of the nightlife and the tranquility of the wellness offerings. The objective was to produce content that resonates with travelers seeking both adventure and relaxation, reflecting Mayan Monkey’s unique ability to cater to both lifestyles.
